We want to provide you with reassurance that we have steps in place to minimise the impact as much as possible. Whilst the situation is constantly evolving and therefore our plans need to be able to change at any time the following are some key points concerning measures taken to minimise the impact.
We have made plans to ensure that in the event of a significant UK pandemic we can continue to support your insurance needs.
We have looked at our processes in case one or more of our offices is forced to close or our staff need to work from home. As part of this review we have put in place processes to ensure that we can continue to answer your calls and service your policies for you. In the event that this situation does arise we would ask for your patience in dealing with your query as despite our best efforts it is likely to make handling your query more difficult.
New business. You will still be able to buy a new policy from us. It will really help us if you are able to provide your quote reference number in order for us to find your quote more quickly. Our processes will allow us to take payment for the policy in a secure way.
Renewals. We will continue to process your renewal invite and renewal completion as normal.
Changes to your policy or cancellation. You will still be able to make changes to your policy or cancel your policy if required. Again, it would be really helpful if you could provide us with your policy number to make it easier to find your details.
We are working with the insurance companies and our suppliers as well to ensure they also all have plans in place.
We know some of our customers are worried about the impact of COVID-19 on their finances.
There are lots of things we can do to help if you’re struggling to make your payments. We may be able to offer a payment holiday and can also look at reducing your cover if your needs have changed or look at other measures we can take to support you.
